Known as one of the most significant and long-established events in the civil aviation sector in the region, the International Civil Aviation and Airports Exhibition will begin on September 26 and run for three days.
The event will bring together all the key components of Turkey's rapidly growing civil aviation sector, from passenger aircraft to terminal operators, multi-purpose aircraft to business jets, charter companies to brokers, and flight training to aviation clubs.
The opening ceremony will be led by Minister of Transport Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, with prominent industry figures such as Prof. Dr. Kemal Yüksek, General Director of Civil Aviation, Enes Çakmak, General Manager of the State Airports Authority, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of Turkish Airlines, and Mikail Akbulut, General Manager of Turkish Technic Inc. The ceremony will take place at 10:00 AM on September 26, followed by visitor entry starting at 1:00 PM.
The Airshow will showcase a wide variety of aircraft, with Airbus and Dassault Falcon standing out in the commercial aircraft and business jet segments. Dassault Falcon will display its new generation 6X model, while Airbus will present its A220 model and helicopters. Firefighting aircraft will also be displayed, and a press conference on wildfire management will be held by the General Directorate of Forestry at 12:00 PM on the opening day.
A meeting on Urban Air Mobility will take place on September 27 at 10:00 AM, featuring experts such as Anurag Gupta from Airbus, Paul-Franck Bijou from Lilium, and Mesut Yılmaz from Gözen Holding. The panel will focus on the role and potential applications of electric air vehicles in the future.
The fair, held at the former international terminal and apron of Atatürk Airport, where Teknofest is also organized, will be open to visitors on September 26 from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and on September 27 and 28 from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
