With the addition of AggLayer support, the majority of chains integrated with AggLayer will be supported in the OKX Explorer. With this integration, OKX Explorer now supports 44 publicly available chains, including all active Polygon chains and popular chains such as BTC, EVM L1 and L2 chains, Tron and Solana.
OKX Explorer, an industry-leading blockchain search engine and Web3 analytics platform, today announced that it is the first official blockchain explorer platform to support AggLayer, a neutral protocol being developed by key contributors at Polygon Labs. This integration will make it easier for developers to access on-chain data and developer tools on all chains integrated with AggLayer.
AggLayer is a neutral interoperability protocol that connects independent chains, unifying liquidity, users and state in a fragmented environment as if it were a single chain. It aims to provide a more holistic experience through innovative features such as a single bridge smart contract that allows assets on AggChains to always remain local without the need to wrap them. The protocol is a key component of Polygon's overall strategy to create a unified network powered by ZK technology.
As the first blockchain search engine and Web3 analytics platform to support AggLayer, OKX Explorer aims to offer developers the following benefits
Easier access to on-chain data and developer tools, including powerful blockchain APIs, to enable efficient development across all AggChains
Advanced data visualisation tools and features specifically designed to improve development workflowsComprehensive support for AggLayer and bridge operations, providing a holistic approach to blockchain operations
The entire Web3 community will also benefit from using OKX Explorer for the following reasons
Greater transparency and trust in the Polygon ecosystem thanks to comprehensive on-chain data
A user-friendly interface that makes complex blockchain data accessible to users of all experience levels Ability to monitor transactions, analyse network behaviour and make informed decisions based on reliable data
Looking to the future, we see that this close collaboration will not only provide access to additional unified bridge data for each AggChain, but will also make available a unified and statistical blockchain data dashboard developed by OKX Explorer. Unified bridge data facilitates connectivity between different layer 2 chains by enabling secure and trustless transfer of assets and cross-chain communication. The addition of unified bridge data will provide a more holistic view of the AggLayer and cross-bridge environment.
OKX Explorer will also be available for Polygon CDK (Polygon Chain Development Kit) chains, allowing teams to build their own ZK-powered layer 2 according to their needs. With this integration of OKX Explorer, chains created with Polygon CDK will also be able to use OKX Explorer directly.
OKX's Chief Innovation Officer Jason Lau said: "OKX Explorer already provides comprehensive on-chain data for 44 networks, including Polygon PoS and Polygon zkEVM. We are very happy to add AggLayer to this coverage. We are further strengthening our support for the Polygon ecosystem by making AggLayer data easily accessible to casual users and developers."
Marc Boiron, CEO of Polygon Labs, said: "AggLayer is built by a strong team of the best minds in the field to ensure seamless interoperability and optimised performance across multiple networks. OKX is a key contributor to AggLayer and today's announcement demonstrates its commitment to empowering developers with on-chain data and tools across AggLayer's interconnected chains."
OKX Explorer is a leading blockchain search engine and Web3 analytics platform that covers all active Polygon chains and over 44 publicly available chains, including popular chains such as BTC, EVM L1 and L2 chains, Tron and Solana, as well as providing comprehensive on-chain data and developer tools. This collaboration with Polygon Labs marks a significant milestone for OKX Explorer, with the goal of making it even easier for developers and the entire Web3 community to access blockchain data.
