Innovative Learning Schools (YÖM Schools), operating within YÖM Group, continues to grow. Founded by Göknur and Kayhan Karlı with over 30 years of educational experience, YÖM Schools, which provides education in 5 campuses in Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara, announced that it has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with educator and entrepreneur Hasan Altuntaş, President of California Language Academy Education Group and CEO of IAU San Diego and LAX, to merge under the roof of YÖM Global.

TURKEY - Within the scope of the agreement, Burak Koçer will assume the role of CEO of YÖM Global in Turkey, while the K-12 education model developed by the Innovative Learning Centre established in 2013 and implemented at YÖM Schools will be carried first to neighbouring countries and then to the USA. CLA's language school experience will also be extended beyond the US, particularly to Turkey and the region, while IAU's cooperation with 36 countries will be utilised to establish universities in Europe in the long term. Within the framework of the cooperation, new academic and personal development opportunities will be offered to students in the US and Turkey. Exchange programmes and language camps will be organised for students and teachers.

Turkey's new global brand in the field of education

Kayhan Karlı, Founder of YÖM Schools, gave information about the cooperation initiated in order to disseminate global education standards in our country and to offer young people a wider vision of the world. Kayhan Karlı, Founder of YÖM Schools, said: "As institutions and educators who combine the knowledge gained in the leading institutions of our country in the field of education with an entrepreneurial spirit to serve children and young people; we set out to combine our experience, resources and visions. We have joined forces, including the opening of new schools, to expand skills-oriented quality education in Europe, Turkey and countries in our region."

Hasan Altuntaş said that the two organisations had the opportunity to bring world-class educational approaches and skills to the global learning environment: "As CLA Inc. and IAU, we believe in cultural diversity in education and work to educate world citizens. We will continue our mission to raise entrepreneurial young people who will be leaders in their sectors. With this co-operation with YÖM Schools, we want to contribute positively to the education system in Turkey and create employment in our country. Together, we aim to raise individuals who are successful and open to innovations and who remove borders in education. We will support our students in developing their language skills with the innovative education and training model we will offer from kindergarten to university within YÖM Global. Through summer schools, winter camps, career summits, cultural exchange programmes and staff exchange, we will transform all our stakeholders within YÖM into a part of a global structure. We wish that Turkey's new global brand in the field of education will be beneficial to the entire education community."

Burak Koçer shared his evaluations on the subject and said, "Today, many young people from Turkey dream of studying abroad. The meeting of YÖM Schools, CLA and IAU, which have proven themselves in their fields of expertise in the education ecosystems in Turkey and the USA, under the same roof offers important opportunities to both young people and the entire education community. We will continue to innovate in the education system by raising more qualified, productive and technologically literate young people."
