A new book has been added to the novel series Anka, in which Melodi Baç, the strong pen of fantasy literature, blends original characters with the plot. While the last book of the series of the Turkish author, who has the title of 'Best Young Author of the Year', 'The Last War' meets the readers, the first novel of the series will be published all over the world.

TURKEY - A new work has been added to fantasy literature that focuses on different universes that are a reflection of the real world. The reflection of the events encountered in our world from the imagination of the author Melodi Baç meets the readers with the fantastic plot and the original stories of the characters. 'The Best Young Woman Writer of the Year' award-winning author, while the 5th book of the fantasy Anka series 'The Last War' takes its place on the shelves, the first book of the series, The Return of Anka, is preparing to be published in more than 30 countries.

Melodi Baç, who published her first book when she was 16 years old and received the title of 'Best Young Female Author of the Year', said: "I started to be known as Turkey's JK Rowling (author of the world-famous Harry Potter novel) with my first book Yasak and Yasak II Crista. While the last and 5th book of my series, The Last Battle, is taking its place on the shelves in Turkey, I will publish the first book of my series "The Return of the Phoenix" abroad by taking a step closer to my dream of becoming a worldwide author." 

"The first book of my series will be published in more than 30 countries"

Author Melodi Baç, who is taking firm steps forward to make her name in the international arena, said: "The phoenix is born, grows, dies and is reborn from its ashes. In this way, it represents an endless cycle. While I have just finalised the last book of my series, The Last Battle, it was very meaningful for me that the first book, The Return of the Phoenix, will be published almost all over the world. Thus, Anka's adventure will never end and will continue to exist forever. The last book of the series will be published in Turkey and the first book will be published in more than 30 countries including the USA, England and India." 

Melodi Baç, a 29-year-old writer who is a jury member in a world-famous script competition, stated that the series script she wrote was a quarter-finalist in an international script competition in 2019. Stating that the Anka series consists of 5 books in total, including the Return of the Phoenix, the Hundredth Generation, Ash and Border, the author's last book, The Last War, also took its place on the shelves.

"In my last book, the brothers' fight for the throne ends"

Author Melodi Baç, who describes the centuries-long war for the throne of immortal spirits Anka and Enka, who are believed to be the sons of the Phoenix in the Phoenix series, gave the following information about her book: 

"The immortal Enka, who ruled the throne cruelly, transformed himself into a soul hunter who feeds on souls. Determined to end the war, Phoenix Carmen must complete the four elemental emeralds to save her people. Hence the title of the book, this will be Carmen's 'Last Battle'. Either she will be victorious or she will sink into eternity."
