Daikin, the leading brand in the climate control sector, celebrating its 50th anniversary in Europe and preparing to celebrate its 100th anniversary in Japan, added another achievement to its success by winning the first prize in the cooling category at The ONE Awards Integrated Marketing Awards, where “The Most Reputable of the Year” was selected.

TURKEY - Based on the "Reputation and Brand Value Performance Measurement" research conducted in collaboration with Marketing Türkiye and the market research company Akademetre Research and Strategic Planning, the 10th edition of "The ONE Awards Integrated Marketing Awards" honored brands that made a difference in 2023 with their work. Daikin was selected as "The Most Reputable of the Year" in the cooling category in both 2019 and 2020. Following these achievements, they have once again proven their success in the industry by being named "The Most Reputable of the Year" in the cooling category.

In “The ONE Award Integrated Marketing Awards”, brands that have increased their reputation the most during the year in 70 categories, based on face-to-face interviews conducted with a total of 1,200 individuals in 12 cities, as well as advertising, media planning, public relations, and digital agencies that have added value to the brands they work with and contributed to them receiving The ONE Awards are also recognized and rewarded. 

At the award ceremony held on January 26, 2024, at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center, Tuncer Gülsaran, Deputy General Manager of Daikin Turkey, who received the award on behalf of Daikin Turkey, commented on the award as follows, “he year 2023 was a year in which our company's successes were recognized in many areas. We received awards that confirmed both our championship in exports and our leadership in our sector in the eyes of consumers. This year, we were honored with the first prize in the cooling category at the ALFA Awards, chosen by the consumers' votes. Split Air Conditioning Production Facility/ Hendek Sakarya

Air conditioners produced at the Daikin Turkey Split Aird Conditioning Production Facility undergo 100% high-pressure, function, performance, electrical safety, and sound tests. In production, robotic applications are used for testing procedures, and welding robots are used for copper pope joints, especially at critical points, enabling production without human intervention. 

Air Conditioning Plant Production Facility/ Hendek Sakarya

It manufactures comfort and hygienic air handling units, package-type air handling units, cell aspirators, pool dehumidification units, kitchen exhaust hoods, shelter ventilation devices, and heat recovery units. Our central ventilation systems are preferred in prestigious hotels, hospitals, pharmaceutical factories, shopping malls, convention centers, and office projects domestically and internationally.

Fan Coil Production Facility/ Hendek Sakarya

As a result of design and certification activities that began in 2009, the fan coil devices produced in the production facilities located in Hendek Sakarya are preferred in numerous hotels and business centers both domestically and internationally due to their low noise levels and high efficiency.

Combination Boiler Production Facility/ Hendek Sakarya

The boilers designed by an expert team and produced with a focus on R&D activities in the factory undergo rigorous testing, including 100% safety, functionality, leak tightness, and pressure resistance tests, using the industry’s highest-quality components. The production also involves 100% visual inspection systems performed by robots. Accredited laboratories in Europe conduct CE certifications.

VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) Production Facility/ Hendek Sakarya 

The VRV Variable Refrigerant Volume) Production Facility, which became operational in 2022, is the second-largest VRV producer in Europe among Daikin's global production facilities in this field, following Belgium. VRV outdoor units, produced with Japanese technology, are recognized as products with the highest seasonal efficiency in HVAC systems. The VRV outdoor unit production facility has invested in environmentally friendly and state-of-the-art paint facilities for reusing waste flue gases for heating. Automatic transfer systems, a U-shaped production flow design, and minimal human labor are used to achieve high product quality and productivity. Error prevention systems and automatic testing processes are integrated into the processes for maximum product reliability. Maximum traceability is ensured through using MES (Manufacturing Execution System) in production. The production line utilizes 4m model module conveyors designed by Daikin Japan Production Engineering. This model, designed for standardization across factories worldwide, has also been implemented in the Daikin Turkey factory. This design has improved initial investment and maintenance costs and weight reduction has been achieved using aluminum profiles.
