With the cooling weather, winter clothing is taking its place in warders, and consumers are turning to thermal clothing. A local textile brand announced that it broke sales records in thermal clothing before winter arrived and shared its goals for 2024.
TURKEY - Consumers turn to thermal clothing to prepare for winter as the weather cools. According to data from the research firm Volutes Reports, the global market for winter thermal underwear, which started at $559 million in 2023, is expected to more than double and reach $1.44 billion by 2029. Tolga Narbay, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Narkonteks, stated that thermal clothing, which keeps the body dry and warm and balances heat, is one of the most comfortable choices for consumers in cold weather. He also pointed out the increased demand for thermal clothing based on customer behaviour, citing Blackspade, a clothing brand, and shed light on the dynamics of the sector.
Tolga Narbay stated, "Based on our November sales figures, we can see an increased interest in thermal products. This month, we broke all-time sales records for thermal clothing. We increased our sales level, which was previously at 26.6%, by 35%."
Tolga Narbay, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Narkonteks, stated, "We are increasing the sales of our high-quality and healthy thermal clothing with our motto of 'Perfect Fit.' The source of this lies in bringing together many factors. We provide reliable service with our products certified by OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, which proves that their components do not harm human health.
